Raimat Chardonnay Cava Metode Tradicional Brut NV

Sparkling Wine from Spain
Review Date : 22-Apr-2018
Bright straw-yellow colour with green-gold hues, lighter edged, the bead fine and persistent. The nose is very fine, fresh and taut in concentration with aromas of white stonefruits, some nutty elements and a little waxiness, and suggestions of yeast. The aromatics possess clarity and grow in intensity with aeration. Dry to taste and light-medium bodied, the palate is fresh and crisp with tightly bound but intense flavours of white stonefruits harmoniously layered with a fine thread of nuts and hints of yeast, forming a refined core. The fruit is underlined by fresh, lacy acidity and fine effervescence, and the wine carries with good energy along a soft-textured line, leading to delicately mouthwatering finish. This is a fresh, taut, Chardonnay-based Cava with white stonefruit and hints of nuts and yeast. Serve as an aperitif and with seafood over the next 2 years. Based on Chardonnay fermented to 11.5% alc. and 11 g/L dosage, the wine aged on lees in bottle. Lot L7330C45. 17.0/20 Apr 2018 RRP $32.00
