Deep, dark crimson with a deep purple hue, slightly lighter on the rim. The nose is gently full and attractive, with aromas of black fruit entwined with vanilla, toasty oak and spice. Full-bodied, aromas of black cherry and plum enriched by toasty oak, clove, nutmeg and vanilla. The fruit has balanced ripeness, broadness and lush presence; smooth, fine-grained tannins enriched and provide a chewy mouthfeel. This red blend is elegantly presented with lush, black fruit with velvety tannin and spice carried to a long, dry finish. Match with lamb tagine and grilled meat over the next 5 years.
