Deep ruby-red with a slight garnet tinge, lighter on the rim. The nose is gentle with a sweet-fruited bouquet, aromas of blackcurrant and plum underlay herbal and spice nuances. Medium-bodied, aromas of blackcurrant and plum melded with subtle vine leaf and clove. The fruit is succulent and straightforward, supported by lively acidity. Smooth-grainy tannin added texture and substance. This is a straightforward, juicy Cabernet Sauvignon. Match with barbeque meat and bolognese over the next 2-3 years.
