Providore ‘Luminaire’ Central Otago Blanc de Noir 2018

Rose from New Zealand - Otago
Review Date : 12-Nov-2018
Very pale eye-of-the-partridge colour, near colourless on the rim. The nose is softly full and voluminous with ethereal aromas if delicate red florals and white stonefruits, with suggestions of cherry blossom, along with subtle notes of mouthwatering minerals. The aromatics show good vinous presence, with softness and concentration. Dry to taste and medium-full bodied, the palate has a firm core of delicately concentrated flavours of soft-red berry fruits with red floral notes and white stonefruits, and some mineral elements. The mouthfeel possesses light phenolic textures and grip with balanced lacy acidity which carries the wine to a light, nuanced, dry finish. This is a softly full and delicately fragrant, ethereal Blanc de Noir with red florals and white stonefruit flavours on a light, phenolic-textured, thirst-quenching palate. Serve as an aperitif, with canapes and with antipasto over the next 2 years. 100% Pinot Noir fruit from 3 vineyards in Bannockburn, hand-picked and WBP, and cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 13.5% alc. and 2.9 g/L RS. 664 cases made. 18.0/20 Nov 2018 RRP $25.00
