Pretty Paddock Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2012

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 12-Feb-2013
Brilliant pale straw colour, slight green hue. This has a very fine and tightly bound nose of aromatically lifted gooseberry fruit with notes of fresh herbs and delicate bean-like nuances. Dry to taste, the palate is elegant and fine in proportion, with light fruit flavours of gooseberries and minerals. This is fresh and balanced with fine, lacy acidity and a lively mouthfeel that carries through to a moderately sustained, clean, crisp finish. This is an elegant, minerally Sauvignon Blanc with freshness and cut. Serve as an aperitif or with seafood over the next 2 years. Fruit from the ‘Charles Eyles' vineyard on Lower Wairau Road, cool-fermented to 13.2% alc. and 2.6 g/L rs. 16.5/20 Feb 2013 RRP $19.00
