PR Cotes de Provence Provencal Rosé 2016

Rose from France - Other
Review Date : 09-Feb-2018
Bright, very pale peach-pink colour with slight orange hues, lighter on the edge. This has an elegant nose with delicate, finely concentrated and firm aromas of white stonefruits with suggestions of florals and red fruits, along with some marzipan nuttiness at the core. This is refreshingly steely unfolding mineral hints. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate has a firm core of white stonefruits entwined with nutty and mineral nuances. The mouthfeel is crisp and steely with fresh, lacy acidity, and the wine flows along a very fine-textured line. The palate is mouth-wateringly dry with a driven, positive line, leading to a slippery finish. This is a finely concentrated, firm, mouthwatering dry rosé with stonefruit, nutty and mineral flavours Serve as an aperitif and with tapas over the next 2 years. A blend of 60% Grenache and 40% Cinsault from the Cotes de Provence, fermented to 12.5% alc. and 0.5 g/L RS. 17.0+/20 Feb 2018 RRP $25.00
