Pond Paddock ‘Zoée’ Martinborough Rosé 2017

Rose from New Zealand - Wairarapa & Wellington
Review Date : 27-Oct-2017
Very pale salmon-pink colour with a little depth and slight purple tints, pale on the rim. The nose is elegant with delicate aromas of strawberries, white stonefruits, herbs and hints of red florals, along with mouthwatering saline and mineral nuances. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate has subtle fruit flavours of strawberries and cream with white stonefruits and red florals. The fruit ha a subtle sweetness which is balanced by crisp, zesty, thirst-quenching acidity, with very fine textures guiding the wine to a light floral and red berry nuanced finish. This is a delicate dry rosé with subtle strawberry and cream flavours, white stonefruit and floral nuances on a crisp, mouthwatering palate. Serve as an aperitif and with canapes over the next two years. 100% Pinot Noir from the home block in Te Muna Road, fruit direct to press and cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 12.5% alc. and approx. 3 g/L RS. 17.5-/20 Oct 2017 RRP $24.00 Disclaimer: This wine is distributed by ‘Wine2Trade’, the company under which ‘Raymond Chan Wine Reviews’ operates
