Pasquier Desvignes Chablis 2015

Chardonnay from France - Burgandy
Review Date : 26-Jan-2017
Bright straw-yellow colour with pale gold hues, lighter on the rim. The nose is soft and light with delicate aromas of white stonefruits and minerals along with subtle, nutty lees, forming a moderately concentrated core. Dry to taste and light-medium bodied, the palate is up-front with uncomplicated white stonefruit flavours along with nuances of florals and minerals. The mouthfeel is soft in texture with a very fine, dry, phenolic line, with background acidity lending freshness. The wine carries to a tight, dry finish with lingering stonefruit and mineral nuances. This is a light and delicately flavoured Chablis with balanced acidity, fine dry textures and subtle mineral elements. Serve as an aperitif and with shellfish over the next 2+ years. 100% Chardonnay fermented to 12.5% alc., the wine undergoing MLF. 15.5/20 Jan 2017 RRP $25.95
