Full, deep ruby-red, lighter on the rim. The nose is forward and generous, packed with aromas of ripe plum, blackberry, blueberry coulis, spice and a touch of herb. Full-bodied, aromas of black plum and blackberry melded with blueberry coulis, oregano, black pepper and clove. The fruit is juicy and forward with bright acidity. Smooth, ripe tannins frame the fruit and provide a chewy palate. This Shiraz is full-bodied and generous with lush fruit and a ripe tannin structure. Match with roasted lamb shoulder and chorizo over the next 3 years. Fermented to 14.9% alc, aged for 18 months in French oak puncheons.. 17.5/20 pts (88 pts) Aug 2024 RRP $14.99
