Paringa Shiraz 2016, SA

Shiraz from Australia - South Australia
Review Date : 09-Aug-2021
Deep, ruby-black with some garnet, lighter edged. The nose is moderately full, lifting aromas of black pepper, intermix red berry stew, boysenberries, there is a youthfulness on the bouquet. Full-bodied, dense on the palate with aromas of red berry jam, boysenberries and plums, complexed by black pepper, nutmeg and thyme, along with a subtle meaty note. Bright acidity provides energy and vitality, flow smoothly with a slightly grainy grip. Match with chunky lamb pie and barbeque red meat over the next 3 years. 14.9% alc. 16.5+/20 pts (84 pts) Aug 2021 RRP AU$12
