Paringa Cabernet Sauvignon 2016, SA

Cabernet Sauvignon from Australia - South Australia
Review Date : 09-Aug-2021
Deep, ruby-black with a slight garnet hue, lighter on the rim. The nose is full, packed with generous nuances of mint, eucalyptus layers, melded with blackcurrants, liquorice and a hint of floral. Full-bodied, aromas of cassis, blackberries have a succulent core, interweave liquorice, eucalyptus and a touch of earth minerals. The acidity is bright and juicy, flow along a fine-grained, lightly softened tannin extraction, linger to a bright-fruited, minty finish. Match with shirt steak with chimichurri and meat pies over the next 4-5 years. 18-/20 pts (89 pts) Aug 2021 RRP AU$12
