Parcel Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2016

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 19-Dec-2016
Bright, very pale yellow colour, lighter on the edge. The nose is fresh and gently up-front with attractively aromatic passionfruit and tropical fruit notes, along with some gooseberry and fresh herb elements. Dry to taste and light-medium bodied, the palate possesses soft flavours of ripe passionfruit and tropical fruits with subtle fresh herb and gooseberry elements. The palate is moderately full and shows soft, dry textures that lend a degree of presence, and light, refreshing acidity which enhances the fruit sweetness. The wine carries easily to a dry, fine-textured finish with light passionfruit and gooseberry nuances. This is a gentle and softly presented, refreshing Sauvignon Blanc with aromatic passionfruit and tropical fruit flavours on a dry, light-textured palate. Serve with seafood, salads and vegetables over the next 18 months. Marlborough fruit cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 12.5% alc. and approx. 4 g/L RS. (1.5 Litre Bag in the Box Cask) 16.0+/20 Dec 2016 RRP $29.95
