Paraland South Australia Shiraz 2019, Australia

Shiraz from Australia - South Australia
Review Date : 07-Mar-2022
Deep ruby-red, even with a lighter colour on the rim. The nose is gently full, packed with fresh, primary aromas of plums, blueberries, interweave eucalyptus, sweet vanilla, black pepper and toasty oak. Medium-full bodied, aromas of ripe plums, blueberry jam enriched and lifted by minty eucalyptus, followed by vanilla, black peppercorn and toastiness. The fruit is ripe with good freshness and balancing acidity; underlying power linger with a hint of herb to a sustained finish. The mouthfeel is smooth with a light tannin grip. This approachable, succulent Shiraz features juicy fruit, sweet vanilla and oak details and a smooth palate line. Match with grilled lamb and meatballs over the next 3 years. 15% alc. Vegan friendly. 18+/20 pts (91 pts) Mar 2022 RRP $17.99
