Paddy Borthwick Wairarapa Pinot Noir 2013

Pinot Noir from New Zealand - Wairarapa & Wellington
Review Date : 13-Oct-2014
Light ruby-red colour. The nose is tight with a dark cherry core along with some cooler spectrum herb and stalky notes underneath. A little leaner in style, the fruit is fresh and bright, lively with good acidity and alcohol drive. The tannins are a feature, providing firmness, restraining the fruit expression on the finish. Attractively bright with the structure showing. Drink over 4+ years. A range of clones including Abel and 5, with 14.0% alc., 10 months in 20% new oak. 3,000 cases made. 17.5+/20 Oct 2014 RRP $30.00
