Bright, pale straw-yellow, even colour throughout. The nose is soft, aromas of ripe peach, lime, melded with lime flowers and ginger spices. Medium-bodied, fragrant scent of ripe peach, intermix lime, pear, along with a hint of wet stone, ginger, honey and floral notes. The mouthfeel is soft with a smooth flow and fine-textured phenolic; lively acid provides vibrancy and length to the palate. This is a well-balanced dry white with lots of aromatic features and a lifted spice finish. Match with seafood and white meat over the next 3 years. A blend of 32% Chardonnay, 47% Pinot Gris, 21% Riesling, picked at three different times, gently pressed over an extended period to allow slight skin contact, fermented cool to 13.5% alc, 2.7 g/l RS. The wine was blend and stirred after 5 months on lees. 18.5-/20 pts (92 pts) Fev 2021 RRP $22.50
