Pā Road Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2021, Marlborough

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 28-Jul-2021
Bright, pale yellow, even colour throughout. The nose is herbaceous and distinctive, packed with nuances of lime, passionfruit melded with grassy herbs and lime flowers. Medium-light bodied, vibrant aromas of lime, passionfruit interweaves subtle lime flower and fresh herbs. The palate is crisp and bright with great energy; a touch of sweetness balanced the stimulating acidity, smooth flowing with a touch of mineral. This is an attractive Sauvignon Blanc with tropical fruit and crisp acidity. Match with shellfish and goat's cheese over the next 2-3 years. Machine harvested and destemmed in the field, 98% fermented in stainless steel with 2% in barrel to 13% alc, 3.5g/l RS. 18/20 pts (90 pts) July 2021 RRP $17.95
