Bright, light straw-yellow colour with slight green hues. The bouquet is soft and rounded with gently concentrated aromas of waxy herbs, lanolin,, white stonefruits and nuances of cut grass. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the flavours of cut grass, gooseberries and herbs are intermixed with gentle lanolin and waxy notes. The mouthfeel is crisp with refreshing lacy acidity. and dry-textured with emerging phenolics. The acidity lends energy and tension, carrying the wine to a light, dty finish. This is an elegant, tight, mouthwatering and dry Sauvignon Blanc with herb, grass and lanolin flavours. Match with seafood and Mediterranean fare over the next 18 months to 2 years. 100% Sauvignon Blanc cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 13.94% alc. and 2 g/L RS. 16.0/20 Oct 2015 RRP $28.00
