Bright, light straw-yellow colour with slight green hues, paler on the rim. The nose is very fine in proportion showing fresh and pure fruit aromas of limes, white florals and mouthwatering wet-stone minerals. The aromatics grow to show a refined and delicately nuanced core. Off-dry to taste, the palate features thirst-quenching flavours of lime juice, white florals, apples and minerals, forming a well-proportioned core. The fruit has a degree of richness and lusciousness balanced by crisp, refreshing acidity, and carried by very fine-textures that provide linearity. The flavours carry to a long, lingering finish that blossoms in lime and florals. This is a mouthwatering, refined, off-dry Riesling with a rich core of limes, apples, florals and minerals, balanced by crisp acidity. Serve a an aperitif, and with Thai, Japanese or Vietnamese fare over the next 4-5 years. Clean fruit with no botrytis, WBP and cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 12.0% alc. and 13 g/L RS, TA 10 g/L and pH 2.99, the wine aged 4 months on lees with stirring. 70 dozen made. 18.0/20 Jul 2016 RRP $21.00
