Olivier Leflaive Puligny-Montrachet 1er ‘Champ Gain’ 2010

Chardonnay from France - Burgandy
Review Date : 01-Nov-2015
Brilliant straw-yellow colour with slight golden hues. The nose is very refined, tightlt bound and elegant, with subtle aromas of white stonefruit and delicate white florals, the oaking quite restrained; this exudes finesse and style. Dry and very elegant, this is tight, intense and precise in expression with delicate flavours of white stonefruit and florals, entwined with subtle nutty nuances. The fruit has sweetness and acid vitality, and the palate underlined by very refined phenolics. The acidity carries to a fine, cutting, pure finish. From 35 y.o. vines. Aged 18 months in 25% new oak barrels. 18.5/20 Oct 2015 RRP $150.00
