Olivier Leflaive Meursault 2011

Chardonnay from France - Burgandy
Review Date : 01-Nov-2015
Bright, light golden-yellow colour with some green hues. The nose is soft and voluminous with broad aromas of ripe citrus fruits entwined with nutty notes and oxidative complexities, building in depth , richness and power with aeration. Full and even on palate, this is rounded with mouthfilling breadth and depth. Yellow stonefruits and nutty flavours prevail, along with oxidative complexities and some waxiness. The mouthfeel is dry with fine phenolic textures providing a fine-textured line. Oaking is integrated and balanced, and the wine has length. From 30 y.o. vines. Aged 16 months in 20% new oak barrels. 17.5/20 Oct 2015 RRP $85.00
