Olivier Leflaive Cote de Beaune Villages 2010

Pinot Noir from France - Burgandy
Review Date : 01-Nov-2015
Moderately deep ruby-red with garnet hues. This has a soft and full bouquet of red berry fruits, undergrowth and savoury game all harmoniously interwoven, unveiling some seasoned oak notes, and red floral lift. This has a completeness to th nose. Medium-bodied, this has a firm, but rounded core of savoury strawberry fruit entwined with herb and undergrowth flavours. The mouthfeel is crisp and racy, the acidity enlivening the fruit and adding to the linearity. This leads to a slender, dry finish. Fruit from 25 y.o. vines. Aged 16 months in 20% new barrels. 16.5+/20 Oct 2015 RRP $45.00
