Ohau Wines Ohau Gravels Pinot Gris 2017

Pinot Gris from New Zealand - Wairarapa & Wellington
Review Date : 06-Nov-2017
Bright, light golden-hued straw-yellow colour. The nose is softly full with attractively ripe fruit aromas of yellow stonefruits with honied notes, yellow florals and hints of savoury spice. Medium-dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate has rich, lively fruit flavours of yellow stonefruit with notes of apricot and honey, entwined with subtle yellow floral nuances. The fruit forms a rounded core with bright, zesty acidity enlivening the palate. The flavours flow with good energy along a soft-textured line, leading to an elegant, lingering finish of stonefruits and honey. This is a rich-fruited, medium-dry Pinot Gris with yellow stonefruits, honey and florals on a soft-textured, but lively palate. Serve with Asian and Middle Eastern cuisine over the next3 years. Fruit from Ohau vines 9 y.o., cool-fermented to 12.0% alc. and 9 g/L RS. 18.0-/20 Nov 2017 RRP $22.00
