Full, bright, light golden-yellow colour with some depth. The bouquet is softly full with restrained aromas of ripe, savoury yellow stonefruits with hints of tropical fruits, musk and honey. Off-dry to taste, light flavours of yellow stonefruits and honey show bottle development. The mouthfeel is soft, mellow, and harmoniously integrated, beginning to broaden, with good weight and vinosity. Soft textures and low acid presence add to the roundness on palate and the wine is flattening out. The flavours flow to a gentle aromatic finish with floral and honey elements. This is a light and mature, off-dry, mellow Pinot Gris. Serve with Middle Eastern fare over the next 12-18 months. Off-dry, delicately rich and pure stonefruit and pear flavours are enriched by subtle honey and spice elements. Good body and drive, along with refreshing acidity provide an elegance of proportion and a fine, smooth mouthfeel to the palate. The flavours flow to a clean moderately long finish with gentle flavours of stonefruits and minerals. This is a classical, elegant Pinot Gris with freshness and purity of flavour. Match with fine Asian cuisine over the next 3-4 years.
