Oak Estate Hawke’s Bay Rosé 2017

Rose from New Zealand - Hawke's Bay
Review Date : 15-Nov-2017
Bright, light salmon-pink with some depth and slight purple hues on the edge. The nose is fresh with gently voluminous aromas of watermelon, quince and strawberries, along with red florals and light thirst-quenching mineral elements. Dryish to taste and medium-bodied, the palate has light fruit flavours of watermelon, quince, redcurrants and strawberries, unfolding light floral nuances. The mouthfeel is lively and zesty and the wine flows along a subtly mouthwatering dry, phenolic line. The fruit is elegantly expressed and the flavours carry to a light, nuanced finish. This is a light-fruited dry rosé with subtle flavours of watermelon, quince, currants and red florals on a mouthwatering, dry palate. Serve as an aperitif, with canapés and antipasto over the next 2 years. 100% Malbec from the a single Bridge Pa Triangle site, directly pressed to tank and fermented to 12.5% alc. and 6 g/L RS. 16.5+/20 Nov 2017 RRP $23.00
