Review Date : 05-Jun-2020
Bright, light ruby-red colour, lighter on edge. The nose is fresh with delicate nuances of cherry, raspberry fruit, underlying subtle cherry blossom, dry herbs entwined with a layer of fragrant, nutty oak and gamey character. Medium-light bodied, the palate is lively with mouthwatering acidity carries flavours of raspberries, red cherries; enlivened by subtle herbs and blossoms essence. Reminiscent of liquorice, nutty oak fragrant lifted an opulent sense to the finish. The tannin is firm with a fine-grained textured line. This is a lively lightweight Pinot Noir with a fine-grained tannin structure, juicy red fruit and delicate blossoms and herbs scent entwined with subtle nutty oak elements. Match with pork and poultry over the next 3 years. Wild fermented to 13%alc, aged 10 months in French oak barrels. No fining. Vegan. BioGro organic certified. 17.5/20pts June 2020 RRP$24
