Moderately deep ruby-red with a garnet reflection, slightly lighter on the rim. The nose is perfumed with intense aromas of dried floral entwined with cherry, raspberry, rich herbs, spice and undergrowth. Medium-bodied, aromas of rose petals and hibiscus layered over cherry and black raspberry, thyme, liquorice, cinnamon, pink peppercorn, mushroom and forest floor. The wine is enticing and harmonious, elevated by pretty floral fragrances; fresh, integrated supports and flows on a chalky textured mouthfeel with powdery tannins, lingers to a long, pleasing finish. This enticing Pinot Noir with perfumed, concentrated aromas reflects a sense of place and time. Match with game fowls and truffle over the next 8 years. 19/20 pts (95 pts) Dec 2022 RRP $75
