Nicolas Potel Meursault ‘Vieilles Vignes’ 2007

Chardonnay from France - Burgandy
Review Date : 07-Jul-2011
Full, even straw-yellow colour with golden hues, this has a fullish, but well-proportioned nose of nutty fruit with distinctive oxidative overtones. Fullish-bodied, this has good depth of nutty flavours, with oxidative and savoury complexities a feature. The acidity is firm and contributes to a leanness of style and a slightly savoury-sour expression to the palate. This may be in a dumb phase at present and could fill out and integrate over the next 4-5+ years?  Jul 2011
