Nicolas Potel Chambertin ‘Clos de Beze’ Grand Cru 2006

Pinot Noir from France - Burgandy
Review Date : 28-Aug-2012
Based in Nuits-St-Georges, negociant fruit source not revealed, 13.5% alc. Even, medium-deep ruby-red colour. The bouquet is quite refined and elegantly presented, with lifted, aromatic black-red berry fruits, tightly bound, youthful, some oak resiny notes showing. Very tightly constructed on palate, with ripe dark fruits unfolding secondary interest, but essentially restrained. Fine and supple in texture, well-balanced tannins and acidity contributing to a smooth flow. This should continue to develop over the next 8-10 years. 18.0/20 Aug 2012
