Brilliant straw-yellow colour with lemon-gold hues, lighter on the rim. The nose is light with a good heart of fresh citrus fruit and yellow stonefruits, along with subtle notes of nutty and spicy oak. This is clean and fresh and unveils some herbal detail. Medium-full bodied, the palate has light flavours of white and yellow stonefruits along with citrus fruit notes forming a light core. The flavours are up-front and underlined by some light phenolic grip. A little spicy oak emerges, and the wine carries along a light-textured line with fresh acidity to a clean finish of citrus fruit and nutty oak nuances, This is a light-flavoured, up-front Chardonnay with uncomplicated stonefruit and citrus fruit with a touch of spicy oak. Match with seafood, poultry and pork over the next 2 years.
