Ngatarawa ‘Stables’ Hawke’s Bay Sauvignon/Gris 2010

Blended White from New Zealand - Hawke's Bay
Review Date : 19-Jun-2011
A blend of 75% Sauvignon Blanc with 25% Pinot Gris fermented to 13.0% alc. with 3.0 g/L rs. Brilliant straw-yellow colour with a pale edge, this has an elegant nose of light herbal fruit, white stonefruits and minerals. Dry to taste, there are light stonefruit flavours with a softly textured, vinous palate that reveals some weight and unctuousness. A subtle sweetness is present, but countered by racy acidity. A Pinot Grigio styled wine to match with seafood and poultry dishes over the next 2-3 years. 16.0-/20 Jun 2011 RRP $15.00
