Nga Waka Martinborough Pinot Noir 2009

Pinot Noir from New Zealand - Wairarapa & Wellington
Review Date : 02-May-2011
Deepish, dark ruby-red with purple hues, this has a full, ripe, dark berry fruit and plummy nose, open and up-front, but with excellent intensity. On palate showing rich, ripe dark fruits, quite plump, but enlivened by excellent acidity, well-structured tannins and alcohol power. This is immensely drinkable, but will keep 6-8 years easily and develop more interest.   Apr 2011 Classically proportioned with softly full, ripe cherry-berry fruit. It had everything there.  Dec 2010
