50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Malbec and 20% Merlot, fermented to 14.0% alc., the wine aged 18 months in French oak. Very dark, deep, black-red colour. The nose is very concentrated and tightly packed with aromas of black fruits, minerals, black ink and subtle oaking, the bouquet quite elegant in its intensity. Medium-full bodied, tight and densely concentrated flavours of mineral-infused blackcurrants and black plums are finely interwoven and integrated. The fruit is supported by very fine-grained tannin extraction and refined, ripe acidity provides excellent tension. The flavours flow seamlessly to a very long, sustained finish.
