Moderately deep crimson, even colour throughout. The nose is elegant, with aromas of blackberry, black cherry, herbs and fine spice. Medium-full bodied, aromas of blackberry and black cherry entwined with thyme, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg. The fruit is dark and enriched by spice; lively acidity provides balance and elegance to the fine tannin mouthfeel, lending a long, rich closing.
