Naked Vine Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2014

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 21-Oct-2014
Bright, very pale straw colour with slight green hues, near colourless. This has a fresh, light, positive nose with tightly bound aromas of gooseberry fruit with notes of green apples, subtle nuances of passionfruit, and chalky minerals. Dry to taste and light-bodied, the palate is lively, crisp and racy with mouthwatering flavours of fresh herbs, gooseberries and green apples. The wine follows a light softly textural line, the mouthfeel balanced and elegant. Passionfruit elements emerge and carry through to a dry, lingering finish. This is a light, soft-textured and mouthwatering Sauvignon Blanc. Serve as an aperitif and with Pacific Rim fare over the next 2 years. Fruit from the ‘Patriarch’ vineyard cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 12.5% alc. and 1.24 g/L RS. Certified BioGro organic. 16.0+/20 Oct 2014 RRP $17.95
