Naked Vine Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2013

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 29-Aug-2013
Bright, pale straw-yellow colour with some green hues, lighter on rim. The nose is fresh with soft and open aromas of passionfruit with notes of limes and minerals, lifted by light florals and fermentation esters. Dry to taste, the fruit flavours of gooseberries, limes and herbs are light and delicately expressed with some sweetness. The mouthfeel is harmoniously soft in texture with bright, lacy acidity, but there is good presence with a driven core and palate line. The subtle flavours lead to a light, gentle and refreshing finish. This is a gentle, harmonious and refreshing Sauvignon with good mouthfeel. Serve with Mediterranean fare over the next 2 years. Fruit from the ‘Patriarch’ vineyard, cool-fermented to14.0% alc. and 4.0 g/L RS. Certified BioGro organic. 16.5/20 Aug 2013 RRP $15.99
