Murdoch James ‘Blue Rock’ Martinborough Pinot Noir 2013

Pinot Noir from New Zealand - Wairarapa & Wellington
Review Date : 13-Oct-2014
Medium-deep ruby-red colour. The nose is full with ripe dark fruit aromas of raspberries and boysenberries along with notes of plum jam and whole berry fermentation confectionary elements. On palate full and luscious with sweetly ripe dark fruits. Quite plush and fleshy, the fruitiness prevailing over the structure at present. Raspberry liqueur with boysenberry and oak in the equation. The mouthfeel is soft, and the extraction and tannin quite restrained. Will the structure come out? At present this is attractively confected. 4-5+ year? 17.5-/20 Oct 2014 RRP $50.00
