Bright, very pale straw colour with slight green hues, near colourless on the rim. The nose is very fresh and tightly bound, showing pungent passionfruit aromas along with fresh herbs and cut grass notes, The nose is elegant and slender in presentation. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate has a moderately concentrated core of passionfruit, fresh herbs and cut grass, the fruit showing cooler-spectrum characters. The mouthfeel possesses a soft, drying, mouthwatering phenolic texture with integrated acidity. The wine carries to a soft, textured finish of passionfruit and herbs. This is an elegant and slender Sauvignon Blanc with passionfruit and cut grass flavours on a soft, dry-textured palate. Serve with salads and vegetables, and Mediterranean fare over the next 2 years.
