Mouton Cadet ‘le Rosé de Mouton Cadet’ Bordeaux Rosé 2012

Rose from France - Bordeaux
Review Date : 10-Mar-2014
Light candy-floss pink colour with some depth, pale on rim. This has a fresh and light fruited nose showing aromas of soft red berry fruits and watermelon that build to show depth, revealing a subtle herbal nuance. Dry to taste and light-medium bodied, crisply delicate watermelon and redcurrant flavours form a core with sweetness and richness, and the palate follows a fine, textured line. This is well-balanced and flows easily and the flavours carry to a moderately long finish with sweet fruit notes. This is a dry and crisp Bordeaux rosé with sweet and refreshing fruitiness. Serve al fresco and with antipasto over the next 2 years. Made from Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, fermented to 12.5% alc. 16.5/20 Mar 2014 RRP $24.00
