Moderately deep with a ruby-red core, even colour throughout. The nose is gently full, with aromas of blackberry, plum, vanilla and spice. Medium-bodied, aromas of blackberry and plum, intermixed with black raspberry, black pepper, vanilla and nutmeg. Attractive, juicy black fruit fills the palate with fresh acidity; gentle, light-weight, silky tannins provide structure and an amalgam of spices entices an elegant finish. An appealing Pinot Noir with lush black fruit and a refined mouthfeel. Match with duck breast and pork ribs over the next 5+ years. Fruit from Alexdanra, destemmed, fermented to 13.5% alc over 25 days on skins, aged 7 months in barrels, 10% new oak. Vegan friendly. 18.5/20 pts (93 pts) Aug 2026 RRP $32.99
