Mount Langi Ghiran ‘Cliff Edge’ Grampians Pinot Gris 2011

Pinot Gris from Australia - Victoria
Review Date : 18-Jun-2015
Bright straw-green colour. This has a very delicate and subtle nose with aromas of white stonefruits and minerals, along with the most faint nutty and lanolin-like notes, in the Pinot Grigio style. Dry to taste, the palate has a tight core, with soft texture. The flavours of stonefruits are enhanced by delicate honeysuckle hints. Still fresh and crisp, pure and linear, quite undeveloped still. The nutty flavours grow on the finish. Grampians fruit from 18 y.o. vines, tank fermented to 12.0% alc. and dryness, with 14% of the wine aged 2 months in seasoned oak. 16.5+/20 Jun 2015 RRP $27.95
