Mount Langi Ghiran ‘Billi Billi’ Shiraz 2012

Syrah from Australia - Victoria
Review Date : 18-Jun-2015
Victorian fruit fermented to 14.5% alc., the wine aged 12 months in 5% new French oak. Dark, deep ruby-red colour with some garnet on the rim. The nose features ripe plum and berry fruit aromas entwined with liquorice, pepper and spices, along with some eucalypt elements. This is traditional in style and attractive for it. On palate rich, sweet and lusciously fruited, with ripe plum and liquorice, pepper and eucalypt flavours. Supple tannin extraction lends good body and line, and the wine has fresh acidity. This is sweet, accessible, lively and up-front. Archetypical Shiraz wine that has popular appeal. 17.5/20 Jun 2015 RRP $25.95
