Mount Edward Central Otago Pinot Gris 2010

Pinot Gris from New Zealand - Otago
Review Date : 22-May-2013
Very pale straw yellow, this has aromas of ripe yellow stonefruits with spiced pears and a touch of honey. The bouquet is voluminous and intense. Off-dry to taste, this is a wine with good full body, at 13.5% alc. The warmth from the alcohol is off-set by excellent, fresh, racy acidity, allowing the spiced pear, stonefruit and minerally flavours be expressed with real clarity. An archetype Central Otago Pinot Gris. Drink with Pacific Rim seafood and poultry dishes over the next 3-5 years. 288 cases made 17.5-/20 Mar 2011 RRP $23.95
