Mount Brown Waipara Valley Pinot Noir Rosé 2016

Rose from New Zealand - Canterbury & Waipara
Review Date : 22-Sep-2016
Bright, light, cerise-pink with some depth and light purple hues on the rim. The nose is fresh, bright and finely presented with vibrant aromas of delicate cherry fruit and lifted florals, along with a subtle, complexing, mouthwatering layer of minerally reduction. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate is lively, refreshing and poised with vibrant and aromatic red cherry and red floral fruit flavours forming a fine core. Some minerally lees elements show, adding complexing detail. The mouthfeel possesses fine, dry textures and crisp, lacy acidity lending a refreshing, energetic flow, leading to a light finish with cherries, watermelon and florals. This is a light, refreshing, aromatic cherry and floral fruited dry rosé with crisp, mouthwatering mineral notes. Serve as an aperitif and with canapes over the next 2 years. A Pinot Noir saignee wine, bled off after 24 hours skin contact and fermented in tank to 13.0% alc. and 8 g/L RS. 17.5/20 Sep 2016 RRP $15.99
