Mount Brown North Canterbury Riesling 2018

Riesling from New Zealand - Canterbury & Waipara
Review Date : 13-Sep-2018
Brilliant straw colour with pale golden hues, lighter on the edge. The nose is very fresh and tightly bound with taut aromas of exotic citrus and lime fruit along with tropical fruits and florals, revealing a fresh core of herbs and tangerines. This is classical North Canterbury exoticism. Medium in sweetness, the palate is beautifully poised and fresh with rich, exotic flavours of an array of citrus fruits, tropical fruits and florals, along with minerals, herbs and tangerines. The fruit is vibrant and the mouthfeel has vitality, unfolding exotic aromatic detail as it flows along a zesty, fine-textured palate with brisk, racy acidity leading to a long and sustained finish. This is a beautifully vibrant medium-Riesling with exotic fruit flavours of citrus fruit, florals and tropical fruits, and classical tangerine notes. Serve as an aperitif and with Asian cuisine over the next 4+ years. A single estate wine, the fruit cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 11.5% alc. and 11.5 g/L RS. 18.5+/20 Sep 2018RRP $15.99
