Dark, even ruby-red colour with black hues, a little lighter on the edge. The nose is rich with refined and concentrated aromas of ripe dark-red cherry and plum fruit, unfolding dark-red florals and liquorice, along with a layering of lifted oak vanillins and cedar. Medium-full bodied, the palate features sweet and succulent flavours of ripe, dark-red berry, cherry and plum fruit, along with liquorice, sweet vanilla-like oak and cedar nuances. The fruit sweetness is enhanced by fresh, lacy acidity and balanced by fine-gained tannin structure and grip which forms an elegantly concentrated core. The wine carries to a dry finish with berry, plum, liquorice and oak flavours. This is a sweet-fruited Tempranillo with berry, cherry and oak flavours, fresh acidity ad fine tannins. Match with pork, lamb and beef dishes over the next 5-6 years.
