Bright, very pale straw-yellow, near colourless on the rim. The nose is soft and densely packed with aromas of yellow stonefruits and subtle layers of savoury, nutty, minerally lees elements along with nuances of herbs and lifted florals. This has a deep core, unfolding fermentation esters elements in the glass. Off-dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate features a full, richly packed core of yellow stonefruits, exotic florals, honeysuckle and perfumes, the detail all intricately interwoven. The palate has weight, vinosity and richness with soft textures and fresh underlying acidity which carry the wine to a well-concentrated, moderately long finish. This is a soft, intense and well-concentrated and detailed off-dry Pinot Gris. Match with Asian and Middle Eastern cuisine over the next 3-4 years.
