Moss Wood ‘Moss Wood Vineyard’ Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon 2005

Cabernet Sauvignon from Australia - Western Australia
Review Date : 13-Apr-2012
Fermented to 14.0% alc., the wine aged 25 months in French oak barrels. Very full, deep, impenetrable black-red colour, the bouquet is softly full and densely packed with aromas of cassis, dark plums and cedary pencil shavings along with layers of perfume, herbs and mint. This has a finesse on the palate, medium-full bodied, still tightly bound with density and concentration, yet refined in texture, seamless, plush and silky in mouthfeel. Layers of flavour unfold, revealing spices, earth, smoke and ink, and the wine finishes gently with flowing flavours, well-detailed and intricate in expression. This will keep 8-10 years.  19.0-/20  Apr 2012  RRP $150.00
