Montford Estate Rosé 2020, Marlborough

Rosé from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 02-Oct-2020
Bright, even, salmon-pink with some depth and a rose-gold hue. The nose is softly packed with bright field berries, limes, entwined with an amalgam of fresh herbs. Medium-light bodied, succulent fruit of field berries, limes are fresh and zesty. An amalgam of fresh herbs added layer and interest, flows with thirst-quenching acidity to a refreshing finish. The wine has a light-textured phenolic line, elegantly presented. This is a thirst-quenching rosé on a light-textured palate featuring aromas of field berries, limes and fresh herbs. Match with cured-salmon and antipasto platter over the next 2-3 years. A blend of 80% Pinot Noir, 12% Riesling, 8% Merlot, cool-fermented in stainless steel to 13% alc, 4 g/l RS. Vegan friendly. 17.5/20 pts Oct 2020 RRP $17.95
