Moet & Chandon ‘Grand Vintage Rosé’ Champagne 2002

Sparkling Wine from France - Champagne
Review Date : 17-Apr-2011
Showing a delicate salmon-peach pink colour and fine, persistent bubbles, with a bouquet of soft strawberry fruits complexed with toast, yeast and spices, that unfold with real interest in the glass. Dry to taste, this surprises with its delicacy of floral and red fruit flavours, and balanced yeast elements. The finest textures are present, providing finesse of structure, and fresh, crisp acidity provides wonderful liveliness and tension. This will keep 4-6+ years. An assemblage of 51% Pinot Noir, of which 27% of the total blend is still red wine, 28% Chardonnay and 21% Pinot Meunier, this has a dosage of 5.5 g/L.  Apr 2011
