Moet & Chandon ‘Grand Vintage’ Champagne 2003

Sparkling Wine from France - Champagne
Review Date : 17-Apr-2011
Based on 43% Pinot Meunier, 29% Pinot Noir and 28% Chardonnay with 5.0 g/L dosage. Brilliant lemon-straw-yellow in colour with fine persistent bead, this has a broad, open nose of ripe yellow stonefruits with toasty elements, deep and densely held. Dry on palate, this is soft, broad, rich and toasty, with some spice and nutty notes, quite up-front and with soft textures through the line and length. This will be a more forward style, to enjoy over the next 4-5 years.  Apr 2011
